Our creative process is thoughtful, lengthy, and complex, and is facilitated by virtual and in-person creative residencies, choreographic residencies, rehearsals, and events. 

We invite both the public at large and our community of supporters into as much of the process as possible.

2024 Season: “The Entrance is the exit”

BalletCollective’s 2024 season is named “The Entrance is the Exit” and will feature two world premiere ballets that creatively inspect the duality of change and the connections between endings and beginnings, as interpreted by leaders in fields ranging from architecture to ballet to contemporary music to visual art. BalletCollective’s acclaimed 2023 commission “The World We Left Behind” by Troy Schumacher, composer Phong Tran and game designer Samantha Leigh will also return to the program, and will again be accompanied live by Tran himself each evening.

PERFORMANCE CALENDAR & TICKETS

BalletCollective’s annual summer residency in New York, NY will take place from June 17 - 30, 2024.  

BalletCollective’s annual summer residency in Millbrook, NY will take place from July 15 - 28 2024.  

Two performances of the commissioned works-in-progress will be presented at Millbrook School in Millbrook, NY on July 27 at 5 PM and July 28 at 3 PM. Tickets for the shows will go on sale in mid-June.

BalletCollective’s annual New York, NY season will take place October 29 - November 1, 2024 at Trinity Commons in Lower Manhattan.

BalletCollective’s second-ever Gala will take place on October 29 at 6:30 PM. Tickets start at $1,000 and will be available for purchase starting in mid-May.

Tickets to the October 30 - November 1 performances will be available starting in August 2024. Patrons will receive early presale access.  Each performance will begin at 7:30 PM.  Tickets start at $25. 

The Wednesday, October 30 performance will be livestreamed for free at balletcollective.com/live.
